Paşaeli Sultaniye

Sultaniye (aka Sultana) is a variety that is grown all over the Aegean region. It is used for eating and for raisins. But it is also suitable for wine-making. Sourced from a single vineyard in Buldan that lies at 450 metres elevation, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18C and aged on its lees for 3 months to provide complexity.  Pale gold colour. Fruity notes of melon aromas and citrus. Same flavours on the palate with creamy texture and freshness. Quite full in the mouth and savoury.
